Introduction

Clearsay is a UK Business online review platform designed to find UK businesses and offer consumers to review businesses in a fair and transparent way.

When we refer to “our platform,” we mean the review platform hosted at Clearsay.co.uk , including any sub-domains, sub-directories, similar platforms, websites, or mobile apps operated by us. This includes all information, text, reviews, comments, images, data, or other content hosted on or related to the platform.

Before engaging with our platform, please read these terms of use (hereafter “terms”) to understand both your responsibilities and ours. These terms incorporate the following policies, which also apply to your use of the platform:

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights on the platform (e.g., software, design, data, trademarks, databases) are owned or licensed by Clearsay. You may not use, copy, or distribute any part without written authorization, including other users' content.


5. Your Content

You own the user generated content (UGC) you submit and are responsible for its legality. Unless removed by you or by us (for violating terms or policies), UGC remains public and may appear on third-party services indefinitely.


6. Our Use of Your Content

By posting UGC, you grant Clearsay a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, distribute, publish, and adapt your content, including for syndication and commercial purposes. This includes the right to pursue copyright infringement actions.


7. Platform Activity Data

We collect data related to your usage of the platform (“platform activity data”), including analytics, behaviour, and derivative works. Clearsay retains exclusive rights to this data and may use it for any lawful purpose, such as service improvements or product development.

Both parties agree to protect any confidential information shared. This excludes UGC, feedback, and platform activity data. Disclosure is permitted to affiliates, legal authorities, or for legal proceedings.

We may filter or remove UGC and suspend or terminate accounts in case of repeated or serious violations, with or without prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time. All reviews linked to your account will be removed upon deletion.


Legal Disclaimers and Limitations

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Clearsay is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at £100.00 (GBP).

16. Platform “As Is”

The platform is provided “as is” with no warranties. We do not guarantee availability or error-free operation.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Clearsay and its affiliates against legal claims arising from your misuse or unlawful use of the platform.
